What age can I play football?
Auskick is available for children aged 5 – 8 years. Your child must be turning 5 before 30th June. This means any child in Pre- Primary to Year 3 can play Auskick.
No Kindy aged children are allowed to play.
Modifieds football is available for children aged 9 – 12 years. This is Year 4 – Year 7 children which play a modified rules version of football.
Open Rules is available for children aged 13 – 17 years. This is for Year 8 – Year 12 children which play Open rules football. (Same as watching the AFL)
Where do we play football?
Auskick is played at Kingsbridge Reserve, Butler
Modifieds home ground is Kingsbridge Reserve, Butler. The clubs we play against range from Yanchep to Whitfords and travel is involved to get to these ovals.
Open Rules play at various ovals as we are now competing in a Cross district competition with Subiaco and Claremont districts.
What teams do you play?
There are several clubs in the West Perth District. These clubs are Yanchep, Quinns Districts, Joondalup/Kinross, Edgewater/Woodvale, Ocean Ridge, Whitfords and Wanneroo.
Do we need a uniform?
Uniform is not a requirement for Auskick, however you are free to wear the club shorts and socks. These are available for sale on Registration Day.
Uniform is required for Modifieds and Open Rules. This includes the club shorts, socks, football boots and mouthguards. Football guernseys are provided by the club to wear.
What can I wear?
Auskick can wear tshirts, shorts or trackpants. Football guernseys are supplied by the club to wear on the day.
